The elegant texture of the washi paper welcomes visitors to the restaurant, which is surrounded by an atmosphere of Japanese aesthetics, and when the door opens, delicate lighting creates a tranquil atmosphere.
The cloth of Japanese paper spreads out in front of you, and when you touch it, you can feel its unique and comfortable warmth and texture, and you can enjoy the elegant atmosphere through your skin.
These spaces are woven from more than 6,000 sheets of washi paper of different shapes and sizes, each woven by hand with the help of contemporary artists, to create a one-of-a-kind experience that cannot be reproduced mechanically.

Kurotani washi makers have been attracting attention for their unique expressiveness in the fields of art, craft, space, and graphics. He holds the title of "Certified Craftsman of Kyo-Mono," which is given to craftsmen who are particularly skilled and ambitious among those who will lead traditional industries in the future.

He specializes in creating spaces that work on the senses, incorporating elements that can only be obtained on the spot, and creating designs that gently accompany the lives of customers by transforming into various forms according to the location, situation, and use.
